Thanks to Tommy who kept these safe all these years.\u00a0 \u00a0Especially the exam certificate which Anne found in Tommy’s wallet.
\nThey are now safe in the hands of the current last male member of the Ross family.<\/p>\n

These are Granda James Ross WWII medals<\/p>\n

On the left is the 1939-1945 Star.<\/p>\n

In the middle is the France and Germany Star.<\/p>\n

On the right is the War Medal 1939-1945.<\/p>\n

Below is Granda James’ Name tag.\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0I believe this is the one from his time during WWII as the number is different from his time in Meerut (see below).
\nThe format is Top line is his service number.\u00a0 14350703<\/p>\n

Middle line his religion – in this case\u00a0Presbyterian<\/p>\n

Bottom Line – obviously his name.\u00a0 Ross.\u00a0 J.<\/p>\n
